3 down does not have enough boxes to spell out Inirganic. The I is not used for another clue so the correct answer is: inorganc. I am not sure if this is an error? Would post a photo of the puzzle to show this but don’t know where.
The N and I are used in the across clue, so the share a square. The full response for across is Don’t Do It; you use the N for Don’t and the I for DOIT.
This is when you press “rebus” and add more than one letter to a box.
Oh for goodness sake – I feel so dumb! This response will save me endless hours of frustration! Just used this technique and was belatedly able to complete this puzzle! Thank you!
The Oct 27 puzzle is all screwed up. The answers listed do not fit in the spaces in the puzzle! Happened with many clues!?
I am paying for this, so not pleased.

Did you use the REBUS button? It will let you put more than one letter in a given box.
Squares were missing in the App puzzle today so: INORGANC, LOSINTIME, BREAK, CLOSES, etc…had to be made instead to fit. Ruined my streak because it will not ‘Complete’ even though I Completed it, in its current form.
Use the rebus button to put more than one letter in a particular box.
it’s hard but it does make sense
break bread
faces facts
tall tale
power mower
go toe to toe
Was there some kind of hidden joke going on? If so, please give us an idea of what it might have been. Today’s crossword wasn’t that hard, it was just irritating.
Hey, Friends. Some letters are a rebus: you can fit more than one letter in certain squares. Just google it. Good luck.
Very unfunny. Whatever the special solution is/was, it was not fun finding not enough squares for a number of words.
